A month late, but hey.
1. Who are you?
People have been trying to figure that out for years, to say nothing of myself. These facts are known, however: I am a twenty-year-old female engineering student with a seeming talent for writing. Mother Nature is out to get me and has sent natural selection as the main hitman; it's doing a pretty bad job (even the lightning strike didn't work! xD ). I also am missing key components for happiness, namely self-respect, confidence, and self-esteem. >.> My mother claims I had a rough childhood.
2. What is your artistic passion?
Though I also do photography and drawing, my main passion is writing; I do wish that I was better at drawing sometimes, because I feel like writing is a dying field and no one wants to read anymore. But if I didn't write my characters would take over my head and I have enough problems with my brain as it is. *laugh* Overall, I want to give imagery and make people think rather than just feeding them everything they need to know. That and spew my ideas at everyone.

3. Why did you get into art?
I think I was born into it more than anything. As a child I would doodle and write a bit, and throughout my middle and high school years I remember composing stories in my head. In sixth grade I had already tried to write a (very terrible) novel, and by sophomore year of high school had already started my current novel. So I don't think it's a "why" so much as a "why not".

4. How do you inspire yourself?
Inspiration for me comes from no where; it is relatively hard to inspire myself, though reading tends to make the ideas come (though I have to be careful because my brain enjoys borrowing writing styles from recently-read books!). My dreams also tend to inspire a lot of stories because they are so ridiculous. Mostly, though, the inspiration comes from within and out of no where, demanding I put it somewhere before it eats me.
5. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years.
Well, I'd like to hope I graduated from college and grad school, and it'd be pretty nice if I had a decent job and... Oh, you mean art-wise? I'd love to have published some writing. Publishing a novel is one of my life-time goals. And of course, I hope to continue improving.
